Douglas County, Illinois

Kevin Nolan, Republican, has had the honor and privilege of serving as Douglas County State’s Attorney since December 1, 2004.  He expects to run for re-election in November, 2012.  Kevin Served as an assistant State’s Attorney for Douglas County from 1992-1996.  From 1996-2000 Kevin was a principal in the Tuscola law firm of Broch & Nolan; during that time he was also the felony Public Defender for Douglas County.  In 2000, Kevin accepted the position of First Assistant Public Defender for Champaign County, were he served until his election as State’s Attorney here in 2004.  Kevin Resides in Tuscola with his wife Jennifer and their two sons at home, Riley and Duncan.  They lost middle son Dylan as a stillbirth in 2006.  During his time in office Kevin directed an overhaul of technology and efficiency to bring the office into the 21^st century; and he continues to be excited by the challenges of the office.
